HITCHING POST TRAILS is only a few steps away from the Cross Florida Greenway Trails, with more than 100 miles of trails to ride. These scenic trails are shaded with room to ride side by side, along with several narrow trails mixed in. The trails have easy footing, allowing for plenty of opportunities to trot/gait or canter your horse. The trails are well marked. This 110 mile corridor encompasses a variety of natural habitats and offers an array of trails and recreation areas where visitors can experience Florida's premier greenway.
Ride the local trails or explore further and ride trails east to Santos or west to the Land Bridge, which was completed to 2000. This provides a permanent trail connection over Interstate 75 and making a safe passage for equestrians a reality.
The trails are well marked and are easy to navigate for all riders.
